Does Real Education Exist in the US?

The following video shows a correspondent visiting a beach and asking Americans some basic history questions (“Who bombed Pearl Harbour?”, “Who Was George Washington?”, “Who Won the Civil War?”) and the “hilarious” answers supplied.

One could treat this as comedy (which is basically how it is presented). But more seriously it shows such a deep level of failure in the American educational system as to be appalling. More, it is this kind of ignorance that allows the  MAGA and anti-vax movements to thrive.

Finally, it is ironic that this piece comes from Faux News, perhaps the leader in selective information and false reporting.
