Maybe find an old bus timetable for the First Ave. bus from the 1950s. So many people do not know of the Trainébus that travel along E. 1st.
It was always BCER’s plan to service Vancouver via north-south routes rather than east-west. The bus along First from Nanaimo to Terminal was a temporary service. When Transit reduced the service to a 30-min schedule, they then used the falloff in service to cancel the bus when they introduced the Marine Drive-Commercial – Downtown bus in the early 50s.
