R.I.P. Scott Walker

We have today lost one of the great voices and songwriters of our generation.

 

Those who know him only as the voice of the Walker Brothers are missing so much of his extraordinary legacy.

after,

we drifted back

through the apartment,

retracing our twin trails

of panties and socks

sweaters and jeans

boots and belts

redressing

until we were

as we were

before
