It will have escaped no one’s attention that the REACH Medical and Dental Centre on Commercial Drive has been closed for some time now while major renovations are made to their building. In the meanwhile, their services are available through temporary quarters up on E. 10th.
Some of you may also have been hearing rumours of staff and other upsets within the operation itself. There was even a petition floating around regarding some dissatisfaction.
Luckily, REACH is one of those community organizations — unlike some that could be mentioned — that believes dialogue with the community is best practice. They are holding a What’s Happening? public session between 4:30pm and 6:30pm on Wednesday 17th August at the Canuck Family Room at Britannia.
