It is good news for the City that a deal has been struck to purchase the Arbutus right-of-way from CP, with plans to turn it into a major green space. Bravo!
However, with this new and large addition to green space on the west side, it must be equally true that Grandview-Woodland automatically falls even further behind the rest of the City in terms of parks and green space.
What are the Parks Board’s plans to balance out this inequity? Will this be addressed in the new Community Plan or simply ignored once again?
It is time we knew, don’t you agree?
