Unlike the other major candidates in today’s by-election, Pete actually lives here in the constituency. Moreover, he has spent years working directly and constructively with East Van issues — DTES Community Plan, the viaducts, the calming of Prior Street, affordable housing — both as an individual and as Chair of the Strathcona Residents’ Association.
Send an important message to Victoria — we want a local and well-trusted Green to represent us, not a re-tread Socred from Point Grey or a parachuted NDPer from Burnaby who thinks she’s entitled.
