A Sad Anniversary

Today is the 20th anniversary of the acquittal of O.J. Simpson for the murder of his wife and her friend. It was a sad day then, made no less bitter now just because the arrogant Simpson finally went to jail for something.

It was the day when a lot of Americans finally recognized that their justice system wasn’t meeting the real needs of society.  But has it improved since then? That’s doubtful.
