Busy Day

It was a really busy day today, with several twitter spats, a thousand emails, a media alert, and a productive meeting to sort out the last details of tomorrow night’s election debate. Not to mention an almighty struggle with the form for my British pension. And definitely not to mention the wonderful dinner I made, or about eight too many phone calls.

No wonder I didn’t get a nap!

Election Debates In Grandview-Woodland

Here are a couple of election debate dates for your calendar:

On 30th October, GWAC , Britannia Community Centre and a number of other organizations will be presenting an all-candidates meeting at the Britannia Secondary School Auditorium, from 7 until 9.  A wide range of topics of interest to Grandview locals will no doubt be discussed.

On 6th November, the Safe Amplification Site Society is putting on an all-candidates meeting at Astorino’s Hall from 7 until 9.  The theme of the meeting will be culture, creativity, youth and affordability.

In addition, the Coalition of Vancouver Neighbourhoods’ Town Hall Meeting on Development, Planning and Community Engagement — so relevant to Grandview as we work our way through the Community Plan process — is tomorrow, Wednesday 15th October, at 7.
