What a life!
On Thursday, I made individual Yorkshire puddings that grew and grew in their pans until they resembled townhouses! With pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and onion gravy, they sent me to bed very happy.
Yesterday, in the sun, we had a fabulous lunch at Fet’s, along with a couple of Guinesses, which I followed with a long nap.
Today, we started off with dim sum at Western Lake (of course) with good friends. What a joy that place is. I then had some business on the sun-drenched Drive which I was happy to leaven with hot chocolate and political talk at Renzo’s.
Walking home I was delighted to find a tree already full of blossoms.
Now, after another long nap, I have a scratch-made pizza bubbling in the oven, I’m watching cricket on the net, and I’m looking forward to the start of the March sumo basho tonight.
What a grand life!
