The regular monthly meeting of the Grandview Heritage Group takes places this Thursday at 7pm in the Boardroom at Britannia Centre. Everyone is welcome and I think we’ll have a fun gathering this week.
Our meetings are informal and without an agenda. However, we know that this week Bruce Macdonald will lead a discussion on neighbourhood mapping and naming in advance of the GW Community Plan (he has produced some fascinating material that will be presented), I have a short presentation on the early history of business development on the Drive, and we will also discuss our ideas for heritage walks in the neighbourhood and our plans for “100-year old” celebration signs.
Subject only to time constraints, we are also open to discussing any other matters that people want to talk about. Do come along and join the discussion!
